Client: Inje County
Typology: Public
Area: 18 sqm
Location: Inje, Gangwon Province, Korea
Completion: 2025
Seohwa-myeon is perfectly positioned to lead the new era of bicycle tourism. The design approach transforms these paths into "travel content," focusing on immersive experiences—nature appreciation, cultural engagement, and regional discovery—rather than just roads for bicycling.
Our shelters are reimagined as "hubs" that guide travelers toward their next destination. The "Reflection of Memory" concept serves as the foundation for a landmark that captures Inje-gun's local identity.
This architectural structure allows users to integrate with the scenery through reflective surfaces. By merging the observer with the environment, it evokes deep emotional resonance. With its artistic use of light and color, the space is optimized for visual storytelling, ensuring that every visit leaves a lasting impression.
